1.  Is there a God? Does He care about me?
Look around you. His fingerprints are everywhere. Is it really possible to believe that all of this just ‘happened’? The Bible tells us in Romans 1:20, “Since the earliest times men have seen the earth and sky and all God made, and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they will have no excuse (when they stand before God at Judgment Day).” Check this out: http://www.everystudent.com/features/isthere.html He created you and has loved you since before the world began. Here is what the Bible says

Psalm 139:1-18:
O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord. You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is
marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.
How precious are your thoughts about me O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

2.   Why am I here? Is there a purpose for my life?
The most basic question everyone faces in life is Why am I here? What is my purpose? Self-help books suggest that people should look within, at their own desires and dreams, but really, the starting place must be with our Creator and his eternal purposes for each life. Real meaning and significance comes from understanding and fulfilling why God’s put us on earth in the first place Rick Warren answers this question very well in his book “The Purpose Driven Life” It starts out in chapter one like this: It’s not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It’s far greater than your family, your career, or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. If you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You were born by his purpose and for his purpose.

The search for the purpose of life has puzzled people for thousands of years. That’s because we typically begin at the wrong starting point— ourselves. We ask self-centered questions like, What do I want to be? What should I do with my life? What are my goals, my ambitions, my dreams for my future?”

But focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life’s purpose. The Bible says, “It is God who directs the lives of his creatures; everyone’s life is in his power.” Contrary to what many popular books, movies, and seminars tell you, you won’t discover your life’s meaning by looking within yourself. You’ve probably tried that already. You didn’t create yourself, so there is no way you can tell yourself what you were created for! If I handed you an invention you had never seen before, you wouldn’t know its purpose, and the invention itself wouldn’t be able to tell you either. Only the creator or the owner’s manual could reveal its purpose.

3.  Is there life after death? If so, where will I be?
The Bible tells is in John 5:24-29
“I tell you the truth, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life. “And I assure you that the time is coming, indeed it’s here now, when the dead will hear my voice—the voice of the Son of God. And those who listen will live. The Father has life in himself, and he has granted that same life-giving power to his Son. And he has given him authority to judge everyone because he is the Son of Man. Don’t be so surprised! Indeed, the time is coming when all the dead in their graves will hear the voice of God’s Son, and they will rise again. Those who have done good will rise to experience eternal life, and those who have continued in evil will rise to experience judgment.

The Bible tells us that God gives us a choice. He has provided a way for our sins to be forgiven and our relationship with Him to be restored, but me must choose to believe and accept it. The Bible tells us in John 3:16 “For God love the world so much that he gave his only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. My part – Believe that Jesus Christ is God, and therefore is without sin,
that I am a sinner, in need of salvation that He died to pay the penalty for my sin, that He rose again, that He offers forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift to all mankind who will accept it. God’s part – give me eternal life – Heaven

4.  What is God’s name? Does it matter what I call Him?
The Bible tells us many names of God, all of which describe some aspect of His character & His nature. Some of the names He is called in the Bible are: Creator, Everlasting Father, Almighty, All-Knowing, All Seeing, Ever-Present, All-Loving, Jehovah, Savior, Healer, Provider, Messiah, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Prince of Peace, Good Shepherd, Jesus, Immanuel (God with Us).

In our twentieth century Western culture, personal names are little more than labels to distinguish one person from another. Sometimes nicknames are chosen which tell something about a person, but even this is a poor reflection of the significance of names in the Bible.
Unfortunately, to many people, the names God or Lord convey little more than designations of a supreme being. It says little to them about God’s character, His ways, and what God means to each of us as human beings. But in Scripture, the names of God are like miniature portraits and promises. In Scripture, a person’s name identified them and stood for something specific. This is especially true of God. Naming carried special significance. It was a sign of authority and power. This is evident in the fact that God revealed His names to His people rather than allowing them to choose their names for Him.

5.  Who is Jesus?
The name Jesus comes from the Greek for ‘Joshua’ or Yeshua, which means ‘Jehovah saves’. The name ‘Jesus’ is explained in the Bible in the book of Matthew, one of Jesus disciples. An angel comes to Joseph to tell of Jesus birth, and says, “And she will have a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (meaning Savior) for He will save His people from their sins.” The Bible tells us in John 1:1-4 says this: “Before anything else existed, there was Christ (Jesus) , with God. He has always been alive and is himself God. He created everything there is – nothing exists that he didn’t make. Eternal life is in him, and this life gives light to all mankind.
